Hoblovací a žlábkovací automat

Záznam uvidíte za
  • It is a wood working machine (feed-through machine) with a minimum of 4 spindles in a row for the foursided processing of workpieces through planing. The workpieces are guided by feed rollers (roller feeder) along the milling spindles. Additional spindles for individual purposes.
  • Distinguishing caracteristics from four side planer:
  • The radial and axial movement of at least one spindle is larger and over 10mm, so that the profile cutter can be adjusted even at a loss of diametre due to the grinding process.
  • The workpieces are processed step by step:
  • Surface planing - bottom processing
  • Joining - side processing right/left
  • Thickness planing - top processing
  • Machines for smaller workshops usually have a feeder system with a speed of up to 40 m/min. They have variable spindle configurations and usually manual or motoric adjustment of the aggregates, sometimes they have the positioning systems for the spindles.
  • Machines with feeder systems with the speed above 40 m/min (above 80 m/min: high speed planing machine) with spindle positioning systems are designed for industrial purposes and highvolume production.
  • An important data for interlinking machines is the working height: Weinig moulders process at 800 up to 810mm, similar to other manufacturers. In most cases, steel panels are put under the machine body, fixed with screws, thus reaching a working height 820-850mm.

History

  • In 1898 the french company Francois Guilliet built the first moulder for multi-sided procession.
  • In the 1930s the english company Wadkin was one of the leading manufacturers of moulders and standard machines.
  • In the beginning of the 1960s the german manufacturer Harbs built the first moulder with a complete continuous feeder (chain feed).
  • Around 1971 the german company Gubisch built the first machines with a cardanic drive.
  • Approximately in 1975 the german manufacturer Weinig invented the hydraulic clamping system combined with the jointing system for tools (option for the Series Unimat 23 and Hydromat 23) and included this in their standard programm.
  • Since the 1980s the german manufacturer Weinig became world leader for moulders.

Alternative terms

  • Multi Sided Planer ( Kupfermühle )
  • Profiling Planing Machine (Guilliet)
  • High Speed Planing Machine (Weinig Hydromat Series)
  • Profil milling automat (Verboom)

Definition of the difference in comparison with other machine types

  • Four side planer - not or only in a very limited way able to make profil
  • Wide planing machine - according to the 'Höchsmann-definition' the width of this kind of machines must be wider than 400mm.
