For flush milling of the front and rear edge supernatants the motor carriage of the trimming saw moves to the workpiece by pneumatic pressure. During the passing of the motor carriage along the workpiece edge, the saw blade performs the trimming cut. The start of the motor carriage might leave marks on sensitive edges. By a changing of pressure, the Softtouch function provides for a starting as gently as possible even at high feed rates.
