Series of moulding sanding machines built by the Italian manufacturer DMC

The general construction is nearly the same as of a wide belt sander. But instead of an aggregate with sanding belt it is fitted with special brushing units. Each unit consists of four rotating sanding brushes which are arranged as cross. The unit for itself rotates around the intersection of this cross. The advantage of this double rotating system consists in higher surface quality of workpieces with different fibre directions. This technical principle is also used in denibbing sanders of other manufacturers.
