The SCM Xilog is a WOP programming system of the SCM-group.

The first variation of Xilog has been introduced in 1996 under the name of Routolink. Up to this point the machines of the SCM group has been equipped with different controls which each had their own software.

From 1999 on the new series of CNC-machining centres has been initially named Xilog 3, but Routolink has been kept as a name for the previous models. Both names has been proceededly used until 2002.

In 2001 the successor Xilog Plus has initially been introduced, until 2002 other machines have been delivered with Routolink and Xilog 3 as well.

In 2011 a new version has been introduced under the name Xilog Maestro. But proceededly machines with Xilog Plus has been delivered, especially for small, cheap machining centres Xilog Plus has been initially kept.

The coming years Xilog Maestro has been complemented with further program modules, such as Xilog Maestro 3D or nesting.
