These wide belt sanders of the Italian manufacturer DMC were designed for small and medium-sized crafts businesses. They could be equipped with up to three sanding aggregates. The series EUROSAND was followed by EUROSAND L in about 2008.

Appropriate to the target group the first machines, which were grey, white and orange, had the following equipment:

• feedrate adjustable in 2 stages via geared motor

• sanding pad plunge controlled
• continuously variable feedrate via geared motor
• blow-off device of the sanding belt
• drive motor of the sanding belt adjustable in stages

Machine equipment since ca. 2004

The equiment was extended simultaneously with the switch to machine colours white, black and orange. These features were optionally available now:

• sanding width of 1.350 mm
• the electronically controlled segmental pressure pad EPICS
• the touchscreen machine control HYDRA V-PAD

The length of the sanding belt was reduced to 2.150 mm and the maximum workpiece thickness got increased to 170 mm.
