A laser setup-aid is a device for CNC-machining centers, which facilitate the setup of the machine table, the clamping devices and/or the correct positioning of the workpiece by displaying the positions of the workpieces or suction cups.

• Possible versions:
• Contour laser (see Konturenlaser): The contours of the workpiece and, if needed, the suction cups are projected onto the machine table.
• Crosshair laser (see Fadenkreuzlaser): A laser, which projects a crosshair, is mounted on the aggregates support. The machine successively moves to each position the program calculated for the suction cups.
• Linelaser (see Linienlaser): especially with window construction machines; shows a linespeziell bei Fensterbaumaschinen; zeigt eine Linie an, um längliche, schmale Werkstücke besser positionieren zu können.
