The HOMAG quality package was an option that is offered for CNC- machining centres since the middle of the 1990s.

Primarily, the package consisted of closed energy chains. Thus, the damage of cables by chippings, leftovers or something similar reaching the chains is avoided. In the basic version, these chains were opened.

Furthermore, covers for the prism guides of the linear axes X and Y were part of the package. These covers should avoid the deposition of wood dust and chippings and thus the intrusion into the bearings.

Additionally, a TÜV certificate after DIN EN ISO 9001 has been granted.

The quality package has not been available anymore since the mid 2000s, because it was taken over into the basic equipment of all stationary maching centres of the HOMAG Group.

The company Weeke offered the same package under the name Weeke quality package.
