Wood scantling sanding machines are all machines of a width of max. 50 cm, working with wide belt aggregates. Brush sanding aggregates may be available. A machine being equipped mostly with brush aggregates is a denibbing sander. Machines of a sanding width more than 50 cm are wide belt sanders.

Wood scantling sanding machines are used for the processing of single workpieces. They are especially applicated for sanding:

• window edges before the first lacquer application
• beams and cants for the wood production
• flooring planks.

Technical type

These machines can be mounted single sided open or closed. Single sided open machines offer the option of sanding frames over several runs.
