Short description

Smallest machine of a series of inexpensive machining centers, which Biesse introduced on the market in the mid-1990s and only discontinued in 2005, after a change of their model policy.

Equipment

Router head with ISO30 tool holder 2.2 kW, drilling unit with 10 vertical and 6 horizontal drills as well as a groove saw. The control NC400 (NC400Plus for the Rover 13 S) had a floppy disc drive ad a color display as well as simple, graphically supported programming options.

The model 13 was only built for 2 years and differed from its successor 13S

  • by a smaller working range 1.600 x 845 mm (Modell 13S 1.600 x 950 mm)
  • a slightly changed control (RS232 interface as standard, an option for the Rover 13S, but no possibilty to read a barcode)
  • and a different design.

Options (only Rover 13S)

3-fold tool changer, serial interface (RS232), barcode reader, more powerful control XNC Compact, router head with 3.6 or 6.6 kW.
