A version of CNC controls.

Using a line control, the movements of an axis can be influenced in type and speed. However, there is no offsetting with other axes and their movements.

A line control is also used to have processing aggregates of a feed-through machine start their work at that moment when the workpiece passes the aggregate. It is a combination of line and point-to-point control, since not the forward movement of the axis itself is controlled, but the entry points of point-to-point controlled tools are determined on the line-controlled axis by the precomputed path.

With the help of the programming unit, the input and rest times are programmed. The timing is started by the workpiece passing a sensor in the machine infeed. Before this type of line control was used, aggregates in feed-through machines were activated by passing limit switches.
