EZ 14 is a feeding system to format on unilaterali edgebanders. According to Homag 10 workpieces per minute are possible for the usage of this feeding support.

Process

• At the first through-feed the workpiece will be fed at the infeed fence as usual, afterwards the first work component is produced which the workpieces comply with.
• In the second through-feed the moveable infeed fence will be folded out. The required workpiece data have to be accurately typed into the control. The moveable infeed fence is parallel to the affixed one attached to the machine. The workpiece will be automatically pushed against the moveable indeed fence and to be fed to the machine. The result is 2 parallel sides.
• In the third through-feed the workpiece will be pushed against the frontal, lowerable fence. The workpiece will be clamped pneumatically and fed into the machine.
• In the fourth through-feed, this process will be repeated. The workpiece will be pushed against the moveable infeed fence, as the last workpiece edge has yet to be formatted.
