The SupportEdge is an additional equipment for edgebanding units on CNC-machining centres by the HOMAG Group.

SupportEdge facilitates the edging of lightweight building boards and has been and is, respectively, exclusively available for the units of the types "Gluing unit 360°" and Poweredge respectively.

Here are three operations necessary for the edging (contrary to the special DoubleEdge unit).

In the first process, a fine fold will be milled for the support edge, afterwards the support edge is going to be glued on. In the first operation, the actual decor edge will be applied.
