The series "MINIMAX SR" is a term for radial arm saw in the SCM-group. It's not a new series, but merely a destructuring of persisting series and type determinations.

The term MINIMAX derives originally from the manufacturer of the same name of carpentry machines, which is part of the SCM group.

From 2017 on a complete destructuring of the terminology within the SCM group took place.

The label of the original manufacturer stay within the model name. Thus for example a MINI-MAX SR 650 turns into a SCM MINIMAX SR 650.
