Chipping deflection units are special chipping deflection bodies for CNC-machining centres, which aren't firmly installed, but executed as changing unit.

Advantage:

• It's not a separate interface or a plate firmly-conntected with the C-axis necessary. According to the needs a tool can be equipped with out without chip deflection unti. Thus it's completely independent from the machine equipment can be retrofitted anytime. (Only a torque support is required).

Disadvantage:

• As for each single tool an own chip deflection unit is necessary the solution can be significantly more expensive than a chipping deflection plate independent from a tool.
