The modbidelli M 220 F type is based on the SCM MORBIDELLI M200 which has already been introduced early on. Though it's not a successor model, it's a special equipment variation.

The manufacturer Morbidelli which is part of the SCM group has been using a technology with two parallel going drilling blocks on the models from the UNIFLEX HP series for years in order to be able to drill series drillings parallel with double speed.

This technology has been introduced with the M 220 models also on machines with traditional Machine tables.

The model M220 F has a pod and rail table contrary to the M220F.
