BIESSE Feedback Positioning System

Záznam uvidíte za

The Biesse Feedback Positioning System (mostly abbreviated to FPS) is a self-retrofitting machine for CNC-machining centres, which have been initially introduced in 2019.

The FPS machine table is based on the proven ATS machine table and is the successor of the EPS table.

Operating mode: The consoles of the machine table have their own drives in command an are able to carry out simultaneous processes. The actual position is conveyed to the control via magnet sensors. On each console there are firmly installed base plates for suction cups and other clamping devices. The base plates can be processed one by one via a positioning cart. In the positioning cart there's a measure device which also conveys the actual position via magnet sensors to the control.

The most important innovations to the EPS table are:

  • Higher positioning speed
  • Measure device, which reports the actual position of the positioning cart to the control. This facilitates:
  • Variance analysis and possibly corrections by the operator directly after the control
  • "Self-learning-function": Similar to the teach-in operation of a robot, only the operator can position the suction cups manually to a workpiece. The control saves the positions directly in the workpiece program. On next call the suction cups will be positioned automatically according to the formerly manual specification of the operator.
  • Preparation for Augmented Reality: If an operator is shown machine functions and target workpiece positions, e.g. via VR-glasses, it can also take place for the real suction positions.
