System for machines with pick-up tool changer developed by Morbidelli in the 1990s to decrease the tool changing times. Thereby the machine has two or more main spindles, which each have an ISO 30 tool interface and thus both are able to access the tool changer.

In this system the first two tools are ideally charged at the same time before the program starts. Particularly in milling operations that require only two tools (pre- and postprocessing) significant time savings can be realized.

Due to the increasing use of movable tool changers those or similar systems are not used anymore.
