Application

Even with a properly adjusted machine always some glue gets out of the glue joint. This glue residue can be removed with a flat scraper unit.

Structure and Function

The centerpiece is the flat scraper, usually in the form of a four-sided turnplate cutter, that is mounted on a blade carrier. The knife holders, each for for the work piece upper and lower edge, are fixed directly at the upper pressure or directly below the feeding chain at the machine base. By simple adjustments (screws) are angle and depth midifiable.

Small pneumatic cylinders move the scraper to workpiece, if you want to use it. Blowers and / or a dust extraction obtained chips. Chips on the work surface would affect the process by getting an uneven material removal.

On CNC machining centers with edgebanding aggregate the edge finish is done by a flat scraper- aggregates for tool changer.
