Abbreviation for Tubeless Vacuum.

Designation for a machine table for CNC-machining centres, which was launched about 2003 wihtin the SCM-group.

Typical is the tubeless transfer of the vacuum onto the suction cups direct via the pod and rails. Thereby the vacuum is only used to fix the workpiece on the suction cup; the suction cups themselves are locked in a mechanical guidance system on the pod and rail. For the processing they are pneumatical blocked.

At the beginning the TV-table was only offered for the cheaper machines from Morbidelli and SCM. The high-quality machines were equipped with the TVN-table.

About 2011 the TV-system was completely revised (e.g. the suction cups were replaced by a base, in which different elements can be insert) and since then represents the basis for several solutions and automatisation versions.
