WEIMA WL 10

The single-shaft shredder WL 10 will be deployed for the woodworking industry for shredding huge quantities of wood waste. The rotor of the machine is 1.000 mm wide. The drive takes place via an electric motor with a drive power of 30 to 45 kW. The height of the needed drive power is dependent on the material to-be-shredded as well as the quantity of the applied cutting knife and the desired throughput. The material feeding takes place via a funnel in front of a hydraulically operated drawer, which pushes the material controlled independently from weight on the rotating rotor. The shredding of the included materials takes place between the rotor-knife and a firm counter knife. The drawer is equipped with glue scrappers which prevents the undesired infeed between drawer and machine housing. The material discharge takes selectively place via an auger feed screw, an extraction system or via a transport eld and a chain conveyor respectively.
