Intelligent Sanding Adjustment - intelligent adjustment of the sanding pressure via electronically controlled segmental pressure pad on wide belt sanders of the German manufacturer Weber.

Specialty

The ISA-segmenttal pressure pad consists primarily of two component:

• The sanding pad, as a flexible belt on metal panels which are movably embedded. These metal panels/ pressure parts serve as transmitter of the sanding pressure.
• Pneumatically adjustable cylinders, which operate from the top and affect freely movable metal panels.

This kind of pressure transmission makes the pressure elements be aligned parallelly to the workpiece surface. Simultaneously the effect of the lateral forces on the pressure cylinder will be avoided, whereby this will be spared of abrasion.

Result

Even distribution of the sanding pressure on the workpiece - even in peripheral areas.
