WEEKE BMP 12

The model BMP 12 is a CNC-controlled drilling machine especially for furniture fronts. It's customer-specifically equipped machines, which used to be available in many equipment possibilities.

Most of the machines had installed a small drilling head for 32 mm hole lines, a separate drilling unit for fittings as well as a unit for automatic fitting insertions both from above as well as below.

The X-axis has been realised through the movement of the workpiece using grippers.

The machine has been introduced in the mid-90's and produced until ca. 2010. As they're customer-specifically produced machines, there have been no official production setup, but there were other models, such as the 200er model of the WEEKE ABD series or the WEEKE BHX 500 production series, which could meet the requierements of the BMP 12.

10 years before it has become a common trend within the woodworking industry, the BMP 12 has already used the combination of workpiece transport through grippers and double-sided workpiece production.
