History
2011 | Introducing the gantry saw S60 on the fair LIGNA. Taking over the management by the next family generation of Herr Arndt Bauer. |
2010 | The machines are only produced at the site in Herford (factory building about 9000 square meters). |
2005 | With the help of former Hüllhorst employees Schwabedissen is able to advance the nesting technology on machining centers. The expansion prevents a destruction of the table or wear plate. |

2001 | Company name changed into SCHWABEDISSEN Machines Anlagen Service GmbH. |
1993 | As the first company Schwabedissen presents its machines in patented technology - and functional design at the LIGNA. In the same year the insolvent Alfred Harbs GmbH (Kiel) is taken over and reestablished as a Hightech Anlagenbau RBS GmbH on the unchanged site. |
1959 | Introduction of the patented technology for staggered cutting of panel stacks. |
1948 | Delivery of the first thickness planer 'der Flüsternde' (the whisperer). |
1935 | Delivery of the first Schwabedissen double end tenoner. |
1920 | Delivery of the first beamsaw for plywood. |
1872 | Establishing the engineering works by the locksmith Johann Friedrich Meyer and the mechanical engineer Wilhelm Schwabedissen, for the production of sawmill machines and joinery machines. |
