Grain size compensation

Device for adjusting the strength of the sanding belt on sanding roller aggregates of wide belt sanders.

Sanding belts with a coarse graining (e.g. K80 for calibrating) are thicker than sanding belts with, for example, K180 (for polishing). Because calibrating is about sanding until a predefined workpiece thickness is reached exactly, wide belt sanders have an adjusting device on each aggregate with sanding roller for compensating the sanding belt strength.

The compensation measures of the most commonly used sanding belts can be set on a revolver. Thus, a rapid change is ensured.
