Successful model from Altendorf, equipped with a tiltable saw blade; according to the manufacturer the world's best-selling machine in its class. In 1956 it was decided to focus on circular saws with Altendorf and constantly developed this product.The manufacturer has used the term "F45" since the 70's; many technological innovations have gone into this machine ever since.

In autumn ALTENDORF launches the special model Edition Hand Guard.

In mid-2021, the following equipment packages will be offered for the 'Altendorf F45':

The 'F45', which is still available in ProDrive, EvoDrive and ElmoDrive variants, will have the following basic equipment in 2021:

• electric motorised height & tilt adjustment 0 - 46° for the main saw blade,
• automatic correction of the cutting height when the saw unit is tilted.

2019

The F 45 Black Edition: special model in May 2019. The black design panel is striking. All three equipment variants (ProDrive, EvoDrive, ElmoDrive) are offered with special equipment details at the special price.

2017

The special model F 45 - Edition 111 (ElmoDrive) reminds one of 111 years of saw technology from the house of ALTENDORF. The particularity is the design-panel on the front side of the machine which indicates the company foundation in 1906.

2015/ 2016

• Slogan: 'There is only one F45.'
• With a new design, newly developed machine stand and tree control variations the "new F45" will be presented in 2015.
• three control variations are up for selection:
• ALTENDORF F45 ProDrive,
• ALTENDORF F45 EvoDrive,
• ALTENDORF F45 ElmoDrive
• as well as several equipment options.
• With all tree controls up to 4 axes can be moved controlled by CNC.
• Independent from the choice of the control, with the Altendorf F45 the dual-sided, pivotable sawing unit can always be chosen (with suitable hardware options).

2000's

• In 2006, a basic Separation from the models F45 (still light green) from models with the additional term "ELMO".
• The basic model F45 exists in different equipment variations
• The 'F45 ELMO' - machines can be recognized since 2006 on there anthrazit-grey lacquering.

1990's

• With the additional term ELMO electromotive units take over the adjustment of the sawing unit as well as (depending on the equipment) of the parallel and vertical stops.

1980's

• In the 1980's, the hydraulic adjustment was launched on the market. A hydraulic valve, switchable on height and pan adjustment and a pump operated by a foot pedal, facilitates the adjustment of the sawing unit.
