2021 | In the meantime, Vollmer has a total of 14 branches, more than 30 agencies and 8000 employees worldwide. |
2016 | Since 2012 Vollmer India, Vollmer Scandinavia, Vollmer Russia and Vollmer South Korea have been founded. |
2012 | Foundation of the subsidiary Vollmer Polska in Bytom near Kattowitz. Vollmer has more than 10 subsidiaries now. |
2006 | Acquisition of the company Loroch . At this time the VOLLMER-group employs 650 people worldwide. |

2000 | Acquirement of the construction of the Akemat machines (tool grinders from AKE Knebel GmbH & Co. KG). The production was closed in 2004. |
1988 | Development of a machine program for eroding diamond-tipped tools for the woodworking industry. There is concluded a sales agreement with the company Anca Pty Ltd in Melbourne, Australia, for the U.S. market. To optimize the production there are conducted constructions at the factory in Biberach. |
1959 | Production of fully automatic bowling alley systems. |
1952 | Development of a special sharpening machine for the new required carbide-tipped circular saw blades. |
1909 | Heinrich Vollmer developed the first design of patentable saw blade swaging and filing machines. In subsequent years the product range and export expand. |
