Since approx. 2003 low-priced CNC-machining centres with fixed configuration were introduced within the Homag Group. These were sold by Weeke as well as by Homag under the name Venture.

The machines belonged to the series BHC at Weeke and BOF and BAZ at Homag.

At the beginning, the system was only a cantilever machine, but in the end of the 2000s they also contained cheap CNC-machining centres gantry-type, so appropriate Venture models were introduced to the market. At Weeke these machines were cantilever machines with unilateral drive, but with side support (Models Venture 05 and 06).

In about 2006/2007 the model names got an extension in form of letters:

• S - small - 2.500mm (X-working range)
• M - medium - 3.250mm
• L - large - 4.250mm
• XL - 5.250mm
