WEEKE BHC

Designation used by Weeke since the beginning of the 2000s for stationary CNC-machining centres of the technical type cantilever machine. The new term was used in combination with a restructuring of the machine series. Thus, at the same time new series were launched as moving gantry machines. They carried the name BHP and Vantage.

The BHC replaced the series BP. Only a few new models were introduced and mainly the previous BP-models were kept and renamed. They were replaced up to about 2003. After finishing this process a new design was introduced and other changes within the product policy came up. Hence the new series Venture was launched. These are BHC machines but with a fixed confuguration so they are offered to better prices.

There were two general product lines now, too: Practive and Optimat, although they are not different in a general. Thus, a Practive-machine can be similar to an Optimat-system.
