Nesting machineShort descriptionTerm for describing a CNC-machining centre with special equipment suitable for nesting. The nesting technology became popular in the early 1990s with an ever-increasing individualization of production. Most of the machine manufacturers went back to already existing models, which were equipped with additional features and software. Since the late 2000s, more specified series of models for nesting were introduced on the market, which are most often lightly built moving gantrys with a large working range (compared to cantilever machines for cabinet assembly). |
