SCM TiltingTerm used within the SCM-Group to describe a rotational axis around the Y- or X- axis on CNC-machining centres. With this additional rotational axis it is possible to edit curved workpieces in that the processing unit swings in an angle of plus/minus 45°, controlled by the programm, and subsequently is able to follow the curve of the workpiece.
