HOMAG maxiFlex

Short description

Vacuum clamping system for use on console tables or matrix tables, with a metal plate as a base, on which suction cups can be freely positioned.

In the mid-1990s, the company Schmalz developed a clamping system, based on console tables. The surface of the consoles consisted of a stainless steel plate with holes at regular intervals. These were closed with magnetic stoppers. Through the holes a vacuum could be sucked. If one opened one of the magnetic stoppers, it was possible to put a double acting suction cup above it, at any angle.

This system was initially used by the HOMAG group, and later on, further developed - into small metal plates, which could be used on both the newly developed K-table and on matrix tables.
