HOMAG BAZ 131

Short description

CNC-machining centre, which was designed as portal machine and had a standard edgebanding aggregate. It was introduced by HOMAG in 2002 as an affordable alternative to the high-performance machines BAZ 120 and BAZ 220.

The series consists of the two versions:

Equipment

The machine had 2 independent work tables with separate Y-axes, which also could be coupled for processing large workpieces. The BAZ 131 could be equipped with the K-table, the GA table as well as the AutoClamp-table. In contrast to the BAZ 232, this series only had on X-axis and the edgebanding aggregate was designed as an aggregate for tool changer. Here, as a standard, the "360°" gluing aggregate was integrated.

The machine was offered with two table sizes:

  • 1.850 x 1.300 mm or
  • 1.850 x 1.600 mm
