- High-performance cross-cut system manufactured by PAUL
- Market launch: early 1990s
- Max. timber section: 180 x 45mm, 130 x 75mm, 90 x 90mm
- Inclination of the machine table which is typical for products by PAUL
- Roll feed
- The additional designation "Speed 180" referred to the version of the current model "MKL" (status as of 2011).
- Successor models since about 2010: (Paul C11)
Options (selection)
- Pressure roller within the infeed table
- Machine control/ measuring station for optimization
- Width measurement by laser
- Inkjet printer
- Sorting and destacking devices
Both the model 11 and the model 14 are available in three different versions:
- Type E
- Basic model for automatic cutting according to a processing list
- Used for example for crate or pallet manufacturing where wood defects are not relevant
- It is always the largest possible fix dimension that is cut between the timber's beginning and end
- Without defect detection
- Partial and full optimization only possible by appropriate control (MAXI 4.0)/ measurement of the input length (option)
- Type KE
- Automatic cutting according to a processing list
- Cutting of defects by means of chalk marking
- Control NCK-0 without partial optimization; control MAXI 4.x (with partial optimization)
- Type MKL
- Top model of the series 11 and 14
- With standard measuring station designed for full optimization
- With one standard luminescence sensing device for both fault location detection and distinction in quality
- Optional with two luminescence scanners for defect detection (marking on the upper side of the work piece) and a separate sensor for quality control on the side of the work piece (quality optimisation)
