PAUL 12

Electronic cut-off-saw of the machine manufacturer Paul. Produced from the 1980s up to the early 1990s.

Production series 12 was the first series having Paul´s typical inclination of the machine table of 20°. The workpieces were guided exactly along the length stop, so that an additional positioning or side-pressure device was not necessary in most cases. Furthermore, the inclination allowed an easy and safe removal of oddments and waste pieces that were autonomously sliding down the machine table behind the saw aggregate.

  • The models were having an adjustable DC drive concerning the rotation speed and torque.
  • Dependent on the purpose the machine controls NCK and MAXI were used.
  • The model 12 is the predecessor of the series Paul 14.

Technical types

  • Technical type E
  • Base model for automatic cutting according to the processing list
  • It is always the largest possible fix dimension that is cut between the timber´s beginning and end
  • Without defect detection
  • Technical type KE
  • Automatic cutting according to the processing list
  • Cutting of defects by means of chalk marking
  • Technical type MKL
  • With measuring station designed for full optimisation (standard)
  • Technical type MKE
  • Functions similar to MKL - a measuring station integrated in the machine makes the difference
  • Compact model with 2 working planes (workpieces are marked, conveyed through the machine, lowered onto the machine table and they are not cut until the return)
