IMA BIMA 310 CONCEPT

Short description

CNC-machining centre, which IMA introduced on the market in 2004 as a largely pre-configured model of the 310 series.

Similar to the model BIMA 310 Expert, the BIMA 310 Concept was a modular model, which was available with a comparatively small number of options.

Equipment

In contrast to the model BIMA 310 Exper, the model BIMA 310 Concept was available with more different table sizes, but had less slots on the aggregates support. The basic equipment was similar to the other machines of the 310 series.

There were machine tables with lengths of

  • 3.000 - 7.000 mm (in 1.000 mm steps)

In Y, working ranges of

  • 1.200 or 1.400 mm were available.

The machine was equipped with the pod and rail table of the series 310, for which the LED positioning aid was optionally available and which had a second row of stops in the middle of the machine table in order to make it easier to set up narrow workpieced or to clamp multiple workpieces at the same time.
