Since the beginning of the 1990s in the SCM Group only the heavy Universal horizontal aggregate was available. Due to the reason that it could not be used in small machines, a new series of firmly installed horizontal aggregates was introduced: The smaller Universal K as well as the bigger Universal M2, which is based on the Universal aggregate.

Heavy, horizontal universal aggregate, fixedly installed in the aggregates support, with 2 outputs for holding milling or sawing tools. The M2 aggregate is equipped with a standard C-axis and is offered for the larger and heavier machines of the SCM Record series.
