Edgeband height max mm

Term referring to the distance between the standing lipping´s lower edge to its upper edge of edgebanders and CNC-machining centres with edgebanding aggregate.

The edgeband height to the top and the bottom should each be 2 - 3 mm higher than the edge height/thickness of the workpiece, onto which the lipping is glued. After the edgebanding process excess material is removed with the help of appropriate aggregates.

When processing with conventional edgebanders, this is done with an edge trimming machine or with the flush/radius/chamfer milling units of the edgebander.
