Abrasive for wood, metal and plastic, consisting of emery cloth and bristles, manufactured by the Danish company Flex Trim A/S.

The sanding core is used to hold the emery cloth and the bristles and connect them to the drive shaft. The actual sanding is carried out by the emery cloth, the bristles behind it serve as support. The aggressiveness of the abrasive insert is determined by the grain size of the emery cloth and the arrangement and bundling of the bristles. The arrangement and bundling of the bristles also determines the suitability for flat or deeply profiled surfaces.

Sanding brushes based on the Flex Trim principle are now used on a wide variety of sanding machines from almost all machine manufacturers.
