HOMAG 360° 4-sides gluing aggregate

Edgebanding aggregate

Exchangeable edgebanding aggregate for CNC-machining centres, which was developed by Homag in the 1990s.

Homag, in 1995, presented the machining center Genius B 30 (later BAZ 30) as a low-cost alternative to the model BAZ 20. The outstanding feature was that the machine only still had one Y-axis. For this, a newly developed series of edgebanding aggregates was available. These could be replaced by the tool changer.

The 360° gluing aggregate required an extended aggregate interface with electronic and pneumatic supply. It had a glue container with its own heating. It was possible to exactly cut edges to size and thus, to process joint edges, e.g. on circular plates.

Alternative terms:

  • Gluing unit 360
  • Gluing unit 360 degrees
