HOMAG VIER-SEITEN 4-sides gluing aggregate

Edgebanding aggregate

Exchangeable edgebanding aggregate for CNC-machining centres, which was developed by Homag in the 1990s.

Homag, in 1995, presented the machining center Genius B 30 (later BAZ 30) as a low-cost alternative to the model BAZ 20. The outstanding feature was that the machine only still had one Y-axis. For this, a newly developed series of edgebanding aggregates was available. These could be replaced by the tool changer.

The 4-sides gluing aggregate was designed as an inexpensive starter model. It could only handle pre-coated edge material, in later versions there was an own glue applicator with cardridge systeme.

In the cheapest version, pre-cut strips had to be manually supplied.

Optionally, a coil magazine and a cutting station were available.

It wasn't possible with the four-side unit, butt joint gluing. Though a cutting unit has been offered as accessory with which edge collisions were able to be manually reworked.
