Workpiece returning device for edgebanders. Presented by IMA in 2010.

• For use at IMA " Advantage "and" Novimat "
• Transfers the workpieces back to the operator
• Can be retrofitted any time to any machine
• The vacuum in the suction cups is generated by individual compressed air injectors integrated in the machine
• Can feed back parts up to 1000 mm x 600 mm. For larger sizes, the radial lift-arm will stop in the maximum top position. In this situation, the operator has uninhibited access to the safeguarded zone

Technical Principle

• IMA Liftback 1 takes the part at the outfeed 0.5 meters away from of the machine
• A radial lift-arm with suction cups descends onto the part, picks it up by vacuum and lifts it upwards in a circular movement to a slightly inclined roller plane. It is mounted on the side of the top pressure track and tilted downwards towards the infeed of the edgebander. The part is smoothly placed on the rollers and then rolls to the machine operator
