GIBEN KERSKinetic Energy Recovery System - a system for using kinetic energy, which is derived from Formula 1 and transmitted to beamsaws by the company Giben. Technical principleThe saw carriage has to be braked and stopped in the end positions for every cutting process to move it in the opposite back into its starting position. KERS here uses the braking energy during deceleration of the saw carriage and charges an accumulator. The resulting quantity of electric energy is used for the drive of the sawing aggregate. This system has been offered since 2011 and has been used in the model Prisma 6000, and others. | GIBEN KERS |
