When sanding veneered panels the sanding pressure must be evenly distributed across the entire workpiece surface. In particular when working with thin veneers it is not permissible to sand through the veneer due to slightly fluctuating workpiece thicknesses.

The sanding machine manufacturer Boere has solved this problem with lamellas in the machine table, which run transverse to the feed direction. The lamellas are sprung pneumatically (range SELECT) or mechanically (range T).

The sprung lamellas guarantee even pressure across the entire sanding width.

If a rigid machine table is required for the calibration sanding, the lamallas can be blocked.
