Number of ejectorsKick-offs are part of sorting devices and are often used behind optimization cross cut saws. Technical principleThe cut workpieces move on a conveyor belt. On the sides, next to the conveyor belt, mechanically or mostly pneumatically driven sliders (so-called kick-offs or ejectors) are located which get a direct signal from the machine control of the cut-off-saw to move the workpieces to the side. Thus, it is possible to move (to kick) certain workpieces by certain kick-offs to a sorting place next to the conveyor belt and to collect them there, depending on the set criteria (workpiece length, quality criteria). "Number of kick-offs" refers to the number of kick-off possibilities/sorting places. Residual pieces or waste pieces that might remain on the conveyor belt move on to the end of the machine. |
