ResawResaws are band saws which are built in a robust way and are designed mainly for wide saw blades. They are used in the field of raw wood and timber construction for ripping larger cutting heights. In contrast to manually loaded band saws, the resaw often has a feed installed. The saw blade, clamped between the upper and lower part of the machine, runs between a stop with rollers on the inside of the machine table and feed rollers on the outside of the table, which are driven by a motor.
