Mitre difference measure adjustment

The miter difference measurement adjustment (length compensation) is a calculated balancing value for angle cuts on the sliding table saw. When adjusting the miter stop to a certain angle (different from 90 degrees), the lengths on the guide of the stop are no longer correct. To compensate for that, there is the miter difference measurement adjustment. This function makes calculations and trial cuts unnecessary.

The compensation can be automatically performed by a CNC control. It considers all data on angle and length entered into the computer and positions the respective axes.

For saws without CNC control, the compensation is performed via a small computer on the stop. Via electrical measurement devices it gets the set angle and length data. Using these data, the balancing value is calculated and the true length is displayed.

Even simpler equipped systems work with an adjustment gauge. It calibrates the measuring system by setting it to the saw blade and the stop.
