This newly developed software-extension from Martin allows the user to really engage in a dialogue with the spindle moulder. Everyday milling processes like folding and grooving as well as the corresponding selection of tools are prepared by user and machine and the machine control is actively involved in the setup process. In exchange with the user the milling assistant provides suggestions for an optimal processing of workpieces, for example with a corresponding tool selection for the desired process.
