MARINUS PROMAXSeries of end-matching machines from the Dutch manufacturer MARINUS, which have been distributed worldwide in cooperation with the German manufacturer MARTIN since 2011. ConstructionOutstanding feature of this end-matching machine for parquet manufacturing is that cross-cuts, defect cross-cutting and the moulding of front sides is carried out in a single pass. The machine is equipped with two trimming saws and a two-spindle moulding aggregate for this purpose. The workpiece feed takes place with toothed chains and pressure rollers applied from above. FunctionalityThe processed material is lengthwise moulded parquet strips. Prior to infeeding, defective areas of the workpiece are marked by the operator with two chalk lines and then transferred to the infeed conveyor. A chalk line scanner inside the machine detects the chalk lines and implements cross-cutting of the defective areas via the machine control. Subsequently, the two-spindle milling aggregate carries out the end-matching at the rear end of the cut parquet board and on the front side of the remaining workpiece. Once the milling process is complete, the feed transports the workpiece to the next chalk line and the cycle starts anew. It is optionally possible to cut fixed lengths in place of defect cross-cutting. The simultaneous processing of front and rear edges as well as the short cycle time result in very low processing times per workpiece. Purpose
