ABS edge material

ABS is an abbreviation for the plastic Acrylnitril-Butadien-Styrol used for production.

ABS is a mechanic and thermally resilient, impact-resistent, thermo-plastic, chlorine-free plastic, which reacts insensitively to strong variations in temperature and humidity. It's resistent to salts, alcohol, acids, lyes and oils (restricted agains organic solvents and petrol.).

Because of the its frequent usage the material will be often called as "ABS-edge" or more general as plastic edge and plastic edging respectively. For the processing, the Edgebanders and CNC-machining centres respectively are used with special edgebanding aggregates.
