The edge material is placed on the coil table of the edge magazine and the open end is led to the retraction device. The machine automatically draws the edge to the rubber roller. Accordingly, this option is helpful for all users, which often have to change the edge material because of the production of individual furniture.

Optionally, all edgebanders from the manufacturer Brandt could be equipped with the automatic edge feed device, where magazine and gluing unit area were provided with a protective cover.
